URS provides a broad range of support for the U.S. government’s aeronautics and space operations. At Cape Canaveral in Florida, we work with NASA and the Air Force’s 45th Space Wing. We have been providing vital services for every facet of daily operations at the NASA Kennedy Space Center, including operations and maintenance for shuttle launches, support for Cape Canaveral rocket tests, and local commercial space launches. We also work with NASA to develop and execute its Master Plan, ensuring the Space Center is well-prepared to meet the needs of today and tomorrow. As part of that effort, URS scientists are using their specialized laboratory expertise to advance future space mission technology.

At the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, our innovative practices have improved the efficiency of our administrative, management, operations, and logistic support across the campus of 241 buildings, facilities, and structures.

URS also is part of the team providing services for essential test and training efforts on the Minuteman III missiles. Our personnel also provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) services to the U.S. Air Force Space Command’s Space and Missile Systems Center, where we help manage multiple development programs—from software, modeling and simulation activities, to development of new space and ballistic flight systems and subsystems.
